Girl Scout Center and Council Shop

The Girl Scout Center and Council Shop is located in the Girl Scout Center at 12N124 Coombs Road, in Elgin. The GSC is on the northwest corner of Route 20 and Coombs Road, approximately 5 miles west of downtown Elgin.

Summer hours will be in effect for the Girl Scout Center
and Shop May 30 through August 28, 2009.

The Girl Scout Shop in Elgin will be closed Friday, August 28, 2009.

Girl Scout Center and Council Shop Summer Hours

Monday                    12 Noon to 5 p.m.      
                                 (Shop only Noon to 7 p.m.)
Tuesday-Thursday          9 a.m. to 5 p.m. 
Friday                           9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. 

The Girl Scout Council Shop is also open the first Saturday of each month from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Should the first Saturday fall on a holiday weekend, the shop will be closed and will then be open the following Saturday.

Girl Scout Express

The Girl Scout Express is located in the Ice House Mall at 200 Applebee Street, Barrington, Illinois. The Ice House Mall is north of Main Street, next to the Jewel Food Store. Hough (Route 59) and Main Street is the major intersection nearest the mall location.

Summer hours will be in effect for the Girl Scout Express Memorial Day through Labor Day.

The Girl Scout Express in Barrington will be closed for inventory July 20 - 26, 2009.

Friday                        9:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
Saturday                    9:30 - 2:30 p.m.
