Work on a different Girl Scout Interest
Project Award each month!
This section of Sybaquay's Web site will allow
Cadette and Senior Girl Scouts to work on a specific, preselected
interest project award each month.
This will be especially helpful to Juliette Girl Scouts since
they do not belong to a troop or group. Any Girl Scout, however,
can utilize this section to earn interest project awards on
their own!
You need to know . . .
You can't do the same project to earn two
different interest project awards. Each interest project
contains activities which are organized into four different
categories: Skill Builders, Technology, Service Projects, and
Career Exploration. By doing these activities, you will gain
insights about yourself - your strengths and weaknesses, your
likes and dislikes. You will have a range of new experiences,
and you will develop valuable skills and expertise in specific
areas. To earn an interest project award, you must complete at
least seven activities as follows: two Skill Builder activities;
one Technology activity; one Career Exploration activity; two
activities from any category that you choose.

Don't forget that as a Girl Scout
Juliette, you can purchase your own Juliette patch to wear on the front of
your vest or sash, in place of troop numbers!
