New Opportunity!
Girl2Girl Advisory Board
Meeting at Girl Scout Center, Elgin
Saturday, November 15, 2008
1 to 2 p.m.
At this meeting, we will brainstorm ideas for the
Girl2Girl part of Sybaquay's Web site. Right now, most
of the pages are "under construction." We need your help
to come up with some cool stuff!
Girl Scout Cookie Sale
Interviews
If newspaper/radio station requests an interview with a
Girl Scout from your area, you will be contacted by the
Girl Scout Center. To participate in this opportunity,
you will need to be available after school during the
month of January 2009.
Ask a Girl Scout (Web
Site)
Check out the Girl2Girl section of our Web site to see
our first Ask a Girl Scout participant, Lindsay S. If a
girl has a question about Girl Scouting, she can click
on a link and send her question via e-mail. The
questions, along with a answer from our GS Emissaries
will be posted on the Ask a Girl Scout page. Please note
that the e-mail is directed to the Girl Scout Center.
Our Emissaries' e-mails are not given out or linked on
our Web site. Sybaquay staff will contact Emissary
participants with questions received. Eventually, we
would like to have each Girl Scout program level have
its own Ask a Girl Scout link.
Watch for more
information on our indoor photo shoot at the Girl Scout
Center in Elgin.
Date and time in February TBA.
