Become a Girl Scout Emissary!

Girl Scout Program: Patch Programs

Girl Scout Emissary Network Program

The Girl Scout Emissary program focuses on empowering girls to step up and represent Sybaquay Council in the media, in council publications and on our Web site. Photos, video and/or quotes are needed from our girls and adult volunteers to impact and inspire our communities and membership in following our mission to build girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place. There are times when local newspapers and radio stations wish to highlight a local Girl Scout, and council publications regularly feature current events and girl and adult volunteer participation. The Girl Scout Emissary program is being launched to meet these needs.

A Girl Scout Emissary will share her Girl Scout experiences, enthusiasm and dedication with others when asked, and also be photographed and/or videotaped as needed for local media, council publications and for Sybaquay Council's Web site. She may also be called upon to participate in community or program activities for photos or quotes. Girls enrolling in the emissary program will have the opportunity to grow their leadership and communications skills, as well as enjoy special rewards and recognition.
