Are you new to being a Girl Scout leader? Or, do you need a refresher on how to run a meeting? Click on the links below to get tips on leading your troop/group.

Be a Leader link: Describes what the leadership team does, different styles of troop leadership, and work with your co-leader to develop a leadership team.

Parent Meeting link: Learn how to conduct a parents' meeting, communicate basic information about Girl Scouts to parents, and recruit parent helpers.

Troop Meeting link: Plan a troop/group meeting, incorporate girl/adult planning into your troop/group meeting, and request sample meeting plans from the Girl Scout Center.

Finances link: Learn how to open a troop/group bank account, follow Sybaquay Council's financial procedures, and keep all appropriate financial records for your troop/group.

Throughout each of these training modules, you will need to refer to your Safety-Wise and Volunteer Resource Guide publications. These publications should have been given to you with your Volunteer Portfolio.
