Sybaquay Council offers the Girl Scout program to girls in more than 50 communities throughout McHenry County, and parts of Lake, Kane, Cook, DuPage, DeKalb, and LaSalle counties.

Sybaquay Council exists to offer Girl Scout programs to every girl, ages 5 to 17, who lives within our jurisdiction. Sybaquay Council serves one in every five girls in grades kindergarten through grade 12. This is a total of 10,264 girls participating in 932 troops/groups and as Juliettes (individually registered girls).

Girl Scouts is a volunteer-based organization where volunteers and staff work as partners in a collaborative effort. This collaboration includes delivering Girl Scout program, coordinating the volunteer structure, maintaining and improving council properties, and raising funds through donations to support programs, property management, and the council's operations.
