Girl Scouts - Sybaquay Council was chartered by Girl Scouts of the USA in 1957 -
last year we celebrated 50 years of helping girls
grow strong! Sybaquay Council has the fourth largest membership of the 17
councils in Illinois, offering the Girl Scout program to girls in more than 50 communities
throughout McHenry County, and parts of Lake, Kane, Cook, DuPage, DeKalb, and LaSalle
counties.
Sybaquay Council serves one in every five girls in
grades kindergarten through grade 12. This is a total of
10,264 girls participating in 932 troops/groups and as Juliettes
(individually registered girls). Membership figures for the membership year ending
September 30, 2007, are as follows:
